Solid setlist. I said it already but I wish HGB wasn't just doing today album plus a couple tracks because I don't really like that album in full. It's preventing my from grabbing a ticket

    Yea, that’s solid.

Well, they are alternating who closes, per set times they posted today. So, maybe you’ll get lucky and can just leave after TEN.

I would feel so bad because I do love HGB haha. I'm considering going still, it's on my calendar, we'll see......

Anyone know which songs they’re doing for vip?

Yeah I can't stand most of that album, but their little 3 song closer of Shimmy-WWFM-New Song really got me into it.

I see HGB is closing tonight in NYC. I wonder if its just alternating each night or if this is how it'll be moving forward. As much as I love TEN and this album, it was a poorly received album commercially and with their fanbase, and they're already a niche band that doesn't normally do venues this large. That HGB album on the other hand was a commercial hit.

I saw the set list for HGB and it is insane to me that all they could play in a full headlining set is a 34 minute album and 3 other songs. Did they talk a lot between songs or do extended versions of the songs?

As someone who say HGB twice last year, I’m sure there were a lot of shenanigans and stage banter.

  14. when I saw them with TEN a few months ago, Forest saw that I was wearing a Descendents shirt and then they played part of a Descendents song. They were a lot of fun.

Oh, I enjoyed them both times. But not surprised their set seems short (song length wise) based on having 75 minutes.

It was really messy. Numerous times they would start a song and then stop and start over because they weren't happy with the mix. A lot of unnecessary banter amongst themselves on stage too. Towards the end when they were doing the "encore" someone side stage shouted that they only had time for 2 more songs and Forrest seems surprised, so I guess they did have plans to do more.

I will not be going for HGB, so if they are alternating closing, I would be so pumped if TEN goes on first so I can get out of there by 9:30. Sounds like a dream.

not disappointed in that TEN setlist by any means. genuinely shocked they didn’t throw in a mini greatest hits set and instead just stuck to the triple disc, but happy to see it. only song I can think of that hurts me not to get is The Truth Is, which is a really important song to me. gonna do my best to catch the NC date.

Gotta give it to them for not throwing in a few crowd pleasers. For some reason I checked out on this band after The Room is Too Cold and never got back into them until Imbue. So I know nothing of this or In Currents and never took time to go back to them.

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

The Truth Is is such a beautiful tune

They’re supposed to do 3 songs that didn’t make the setlist as their acoustic vip set. Not that I want to drop $75 for 3 more songs… but hoping someone posts what they are to help decide

Just saw the IG stories from the NYC show last night and that looked much better attended than night one.

Those were Ace’s VIP songs. The post you quoted was about Hellogoodbye. Which did add songs, if anyone wants to look at set list.fm

Wow I just looked, Connecticut got robbed! If they had their shit together and gave us those extra few songs I would've been a happy camper.
