I ranked Early November songs let's fight about it You Should Know: The 10 Best Early November Songs - The Alternative
Every Night's Another Story is one of my favorite songs of all time. It's #1 for me. It's the iconic song for this band! Watching them play this live when I was 15 was like the peak of adolescence. Three songs from TMTMTP, bold move cotton. I can tell we have opposite ears, I dig faster songs in general. The new album is really up there for me and Lilac/TMTMTP just don't register strong. Did you guys know he’s been doing a show in Philly for I Can Make A Mess 20? This randomly came up on my feed, feels like I heard nothing about it. https://citywinery.com/philadelphia/events/i-can-make-a-mess-20-year-anniversary-ss3alh
Seriously this is the dark horse of their catalog, no doubt about it. "Better This Way" is a top-tier TEN song, as is "Narrow Mouth." Also, the record just sounds HUGE.
Pretty easily my favorite of their discography. I’ve always liked their songs that had more teeth/energy. Also, how am I just learning the song is called Better This Way and not Better That Way?
Yeah In Current and Imbue are my favorites with Rooms Too Cold very closely behind. Woulda been cool to get a double album tour for In Currents and Imbue this year instead of the acoustic tour they're about to do
I can’t imagine those two albums being played would get the biggest draw. I love both, don’t get me wrong.
The only song I enjoyed off their S/T was What We Earn sadly. I know Ace has been the primary songwriter but I still think Joe, Bill, and Serg leaving has impacted TEN in a negative way. I’ve loved every record til Lilac and S/T so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
