What’s holding me back is the fact that I really didn’t like Lilac, Twenty was a mixed bag for me (but half of that record is old songs anyways), and About Me is pretty forgettable IMO.

I also feel the absence of Bill, Serg, and Joe when listening to newer TEN.

 

Tall order but I hope so too.

 

I hope the album is half as good as Imbue

 

Imbue is possibly their best record to date if you ask me. I don’t believe this S/T will be anywhere near as good but I would be thrilled to be wrong here :)

 

I don't know why anyone wants a half good album, I hope the album is just as good or BETTER than Imbue, In Currents and Lilac (and the rest)

Ignoring the absolute bangers that is Narrow Mouth, Better This Way, Magnolia, and The Negatives - I don’t know how any TEN fan can not absolutely love the perfect run of Boxing Timelines to I Don’t Care.

Those 5 tracks are perfect TEN songs as far as I’m concerned ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
