Both have cool artworks, so I'm not sure - though I tend to at least try and avoid too many vinyl purchases, and I do have both of those EP's on CDs from back in the day, so I could easily skip a release like that for now
Don't know how long this has been like this, but the In Currents photobook & vinyl is only $7 on rise https://riserecords.com/products/ten0ic0000-nv?_pos=7&_sid=326622d24&_ss=r&mibextid=Zxz2cZ
Looks like Lilac is $7 also. That photobook is really well done, btw. I just went back and looked through it the other day. A really nice look at the band as they were getting back together following the hiatus
Photo book was an easy buy despite already having the record. I wish I liked Lilac more (or else I would have picked up a copy of it) but aside from Perfect Sphere, Weakness, and Hit By a Car - it’s super forgettable to me.
Listening to Imbue and I honestly think this might be their best record to date. It’s a shame the (full) band essentially fell apart shortly after..
i will always say Ace peaked vocally on Imbue. He’s a beast when he decides to write them bellowing songs and he really showed what he’s capable of on said record.
Just got my In Currents photo record in the mail from that rise records sale ($7 - that's fucking insane). This is twice as cool and higher quality than manchester's MMOG photobook imo
I got mine a week or so ago. It's beautiful. Got the yellow Lilac too even though it's not my favorite of theirs.
i just got this in the mail and really only wanted the record. if you don’t mind the album missing, i’m happy to ship you the book.
Half-way through this podcast with Ace, and it's pretty great and in-depth so far. Awesome to hear a host who knows the scene well.
