    I love that pullover.

I need to take a break on vinyl orders but my favorite bands keep releasing new music lol

Twenty effortlessly straddles the divide between then and now, its 10 songs casting a backwards glance at the days and years gone by, while also looking forward to the future. A collection of both brand new tracks and older ones written during the course of the band’s life to date, the result is something of a paradox: this both is and isn’t a new Early November record.

    Interesting…

ah so they went with what I thought would be the weird thing to do.

regardless, this is a cool idea and I’m excited to hear the rest. always loved Make it Happen, and this version is really cool (tho doesn’t usurp the old full band recording for me). I wish Ace wouldn’t process his vocals so heavily but it’s a minor complaint and a decade or so into the “self-recorded” era of his/the band’s music I’m kinda so used to it from him it’s hardly worth complaining about anymore.

Wondering if they self mixed this, sounds like it. On imbue I think that’s the best the vocals sounded self produced and they used outside mixers for that one.

A tour announcement is imminent, I was at a venue in Austin on Saturday and it showed a poster for an Anniversary tour with TEN/I Can Make A Mess.

  14. are any of the songs re-titled? or are some of them just songs we've never heard?

  15. Honestly am bad at knowing all the b-sides and old songs that other die-hards know about.

Would you say it feels more like their older sound all through or a mix of everything they’ve done up to this point?

Dang no tour in CA. Oh well.

Happy that they signed to PN but it does make me sad to see just Ace and Jeff left. Would give a lot to see all the dudes reunited for a new record but at least TEN isn’t over and hopefully them signing to PN is a signal of them eventually putting out a brand new record (of brand new tracks).

in my library, I have two versions of Make It Happen, two versions of Five Years, one version of Pretty Pretty and three versions of Open Eyes. The other 6 tracks are new to me.

Did Ace ever actually record “One More Song”?

He released a version of it on his patreon in 2019, but it was marked as "(rough)"

Whenever he does an Ask Me Anything on Instrgram I ask when he's gonna record and release One More Song. He never responds haha
