Sorry, didn't realize this isn't the Ace thread where we've talked multiple times about how Ace is being really terrible. His Patreon is a scam at this point and he keeps taking fans money, I quit a while ago but he doesn't fulfil any of the promises at any level of entry. He hasn't given anything to Patroen users since I think July or August, but he still colects their money every month.
How does one exist in this thread and think Ace’s failure to deliver on promises has anything to do with covid?? Like come on man
Yeah, he delivered SO much in the first like, 2 months... during covid, so that's obviously not the problem
Don't know anything about the Patreon or anything like that, I was just mentioning that he said new stuff for TEN and ICMAM is in the works.
Yeah I quit his Patreon too. I pay twice as much now for the Mike Kinsella Patreon but he at least delivers, and his zoom hang outs are fun.
Yeah.... podcasts about stocks when he admittedly "knows nothing about stocks" plus now he joined some sort of personal coaching company.... I mean, I hope it's good for him personally, but he completely abandoned fans of his music, but still takes money from them each month, it's pretty bad
Yeah, these clips already sound much better to me than Lillac. Nice. All I really want is a continuation of the sound from Imbue.
Those snippets sound pretty nice...also pumped how he acknowledged a possible return to that "2002 energy."
Lilac was such a bore (for me) and very much what I don’t want out of TEN. At least, that’s my personal take.
In Currents is everything I want. I think I bought more merch that album rollout than any other album ever
I liked Ave Maria and almost nothing else from Lilac. Imbue felt like a step forward. Didn't feel that way from Lilac.
Imbue felt like Early November where Lilac felt like Ace using the Early November name to push his solo sound.
Agreed. I LOVE Lilac, probably a top 3 album in Ace's discography. But it definitely felt more like an I Can Make A Mess album.
