The Room’s Too Cold is my jam, the triple disc is not.

 

I can take that triple album and condense it an amazing top tier 12 song album. Too much filler on it for me though.

It's my favorite of theirs, but The Mother disc is the on an even higher level.

 

I think The Mechanic is my favorite of the three discs but it's not by much.

 

Would someone be willing to give me a top 5 or 10 songs from their entire discography?

Much appreciated. So far I have only gotten through "The Mechanic", but I will probably go back and start at the beginning of their discography after I check out the recommended songs.

 

For a new fan, I'd give them the essentials as well as a brief history of the band. In chronological order, and base it a little off of their recent setlists too in case the new fan wants to see them and know (at least a few of) their songs:
