I'm the exact opposite. To me, the albums have always seemed like Ace is more or less pulling the strings, but the dynamic and energy that they have together live has always felt very special.
I was not able to see the full band in any original form (w or w/o Bill) before they took time off. With Senses Fail I did have the opportunity to see them live with their line up back in 2005
TEN w/ the full band vs Ace and fill ins is a completely different experience imo Senses Fail is completely different and I don't think it matters whos playing with Buddy
Sergio Anello, the bassist for The Early November, has launched his new project Everyone Knows. The new album, Tell or Be Told, will be released on February 22nd, 2019, and today he’s shared the debut single “Blacker Than Blue” which can be streamed below.
Same and same. I saw Senses Fail multiple times back in 2004 and 2005. I was obsessed back then lol Agreed. I saw TEN on their tour with Movielife and it did not feel like TEN. It felt like an Ace solo set with TEN songs.
I need to give it a listen later, I totally forgot about this! I also totally forgot about HIRAETH. I remember when it first came out I told myself I was gonna wait until it came to Spotify. Looks like that day never came haha time to just buy the damn thing.
I wasn't sure if I shared this with the thread. I recorded this EP a while back and raised money for RAINN.
Thank you so much! I still believe that In Currents is one of the best "comeback" albums in our scene.
OMG Magnolia!!! I’m considering going to the Charlotte show now just to hear that lol. I’d just dip after TEN tho so it’s prob not gonna happen.
lol setlist.fm says that Every Night's Another Story comes from An Excellent Attempt at Next To Youism which reminds me of that excellent title
I'm seeing them this Friday in Philly. I can't wait. I've been jamming their songs a lot for the last week and their discography really has a lot of great stuff.
