Ace may have the most enjoyable voice in the world to me nowadays. Is there a way for him to just go back and re record the vocal portions of The Rooms Too Cold & For All Of This??? Ughhh he improved so much over the years.

Listening to The World We Know for the first time in yeeeeears. Forgot how weird Sleep Means Sleeping is and how much I loved it. It's just a bunch of cool Ace parts sort of strung together to create this cool amalgamation of all of the sounds he was capable of at that point. Really neat way to reintroduce the Mess name after 6 years of inactivity.

 

I forget this little tune exists sometimes. So fuckin good.

 

I am about to get the OG The Room's Too Cold press for 35 dollars this is not a drill

I spent 80 on it last year. Only thing I don't have at this point is The Acoustic EP.

 

Acoustic EP was the first vinyl record I ever bought after I got my first real paycheck haha

 

I paid an unreal amount of money a couple years ago for that For All Of This/Acoustic EP box set to complete my collection

I have the repress but it feels so good to have this one.

 

My copy is so warped that I never play it, but yeah, I was so happy when I finally got it and still cherish it over most of my other records.

I have a bunch of memories drinking/smoking/screaming Call off the Bells with my friends. Love that song.

 

I like to get deep into the feels when I listen to hard hitting songs like Call Off the Bells. It's a good song and when you hear Ace hit those notes it makes you get more feels thinking about how hard of a worker, talented, and beautiful he is. Then you think about the history of how far you've gone loving the band. Yup, deep feely feels.

 

I was listening to Wilco's Yankee Hotel Foxtrot and it's crazy how much of that album reminds me of The Mother, the Mechanic, the Path. And then I really wanted to listen to tmtmtp and well. Here I am
