Definitely a different vibe than the version on The Path. Not totally sold on this but I'm sure I'll give it plenty of spins once it comes out!
I'm going to both the Cambridge and Philly dates and let me tell you I am beyond excited for next week.
Soooooo excited for this. This is the album that exposed me to the scene. Going with all my friends who grew up on this record just like I did. Tears will be shed.
I believe so. They were posting pictures from their practices they've had and all the original members are pictured.
Last night was incredible. Even more excited, and happy I bought tickets, for the Philly show now. Curious to see if they switch it up at all, as they only played about an hour worth of TMTMTP songs and then about 45 minutes of songs from the rest of their discography.
Hm, it'll be interesting to see if they're more ambitious at the Philly show. Either way, I'm incredibly excited. An hour of TMTMTP is substantial. Did they play the rock record straight through?
I have video of the whole show that I'm gonna upload at some point in the next 24 hours. :) Tho that might be too spoiler-y lol
Billboard has Ace on their Facebook Live right now. I was shocked to see this. Watching it now. Sounds great.
Yes. Can't wait. If it's good quality could you make it an MP3 for download as well...? Also, so insanely excited for tomorrow night. Holy shit.
I can try! The quality is pretty damn good, imo, I was hoping to EQ it a bit but don't really have time or resources to do so, but even without it it's pretty impressive for a iPhone recording. The only issue with the whole thing is I had an alarm go off during the bridge of Ever So Sweet, which stopped the recording for a single line, I was able to edit it so it was barely noticeable though.
Still haven't been able to get the video uploaded yet (it's currently stuck at 50% on YouTube) so it might take longer than I thought. Hopefully it'll be worth it when it's finished. In the meantime, here's the setlist: The Early November Setlist at The Sinclair, Cambridge
YOU'RE WELCOME. ALSO I HOPE I SEE YOU TONIGHT. Yeah, I cried very hard during all of Never Coming Back. I listened to that song on repeat while my grandma was passing, so it's basically impossible to listen to without some waterworks for me. If the set is different in Philly, I may record that show too. Idk.
holy shit that's a good setlist. I basically knew it wasn't gonna happen but i really hoped they'd do runaway lol. @nohandstoholdonto thanks SO much for taking video, even if it isn't up yet, i was SUPER bummed this was gonna be such a small exclusive thing
I had no expectations, I had no idea what they'd do for this since you know. Three fucking discs to choose from. But this was a nice, balanced setlist, for some reason I wasn't holding my breath that it wouldn't just be The Mechanic straight through
