15 songs is A LOT. Love the choices. Will be so interesting to hear some of these acoustically - especially Mountain Range and A Little More Time. Can't wait to hear what it sounds like on Thursday.
Interesting to see songs from the acoustic EP on this haha, but I'm not complaining. It's been a long time since those recordings.
They did a lot of these songs on the acoustic tour they did 2 years ago. Thinking they will be similar renditions. Very excited for Outside nonetheless
Someone requested Just Enough at my date of the acoustic tour and Ace just went "Nope, any song but that one"
Really old acoustic one, not on an official release haha. There was a video of Ace playing it in his basement that was on the first Drive Thru DVD, that's mainly how people know it. There is a live full band recording of it out there too but it sounds awful
oh it's like a demo that they never did anything with? wonder why if people love it so much / why they don't like it
Essentially, yeah. People love it because it's classic early stages Early November haha, just like all of their really old stuff I guess. It has a line at the end of the song that goes "waking up can be so hard", delivered similarly to the "I don't want to love you anymore" line in Baby Blue, which probably resonated in a weird way with a lot of angsty teens back in the day haha. You know, cult TEN stuff. The band/Ace probably don't like it because it's one of their worst songs, and the video of Ace playing it on that DVD is pretty embarrassing lol. Even at like 13-14 I felt bad for him that it was out there for the world to see and that that was how that song was introduced to their fanbase
Oh wow, yeah unless I'm just poorly remembering the full band version that I have then this is a different one for sure
Just Enough is amazing and I wish we got a proper recording of it. Oh well! They also played it at their last show pre-hiatus in Philly and there was a super good live version of it from that show on YouTube for a while, but it got taken down.
