My prediction: It'll be the 15-ish rock tracks on the album + Ace solo doing some of the softer songs acoustically / it'll only be a handful of dates along the northeast, just as TRTC was. So excited. This band is so, so, so good to its fans.
Hopefully they play it in a venue that has good acoustics, so I can finally get a live album from this band, which I need so desperately haha.
I could've sworn they said they were never gonna do this. I think they might do a few the mother shows and then a few the mechanic shows. This is crazy
Yeah, as much as I'd enjoy seeing them tour the mother and mechanic albums I doubt it'll be. TEN doesn't have enough pull to tour those albums unless they open for a good headlining band. My money is on a reissue and/or east coast shows. Makes me sad.
You know this or just guessing? Not gonna lie, a vinyl reissue for this album seems somewhat unnecessary imo, but I'd be interested to see if they do anything different with it this time around. Will inevitably buy it regardless.
yeah i already have a beautiful LP version. it would have to be some kind of deluxe lol i doubt they'd do another pressing rn but i'm surprised they're doing anything ah
They should just do a small venue with each disc getting a night. Different "encore" songs each night. Only sold as a three pack.
I'm so lucky that I live 15 mins away from Philadelphia. I've seen them 8 times. Hands down my favorite is TRTC show, even more than the first reunion show at the Electric Factory. Although the setlist for the first reunion show was incredible, they just sounded so great at TRTC show.
Side-note: I've seen this band twenty + times now - Top 5-7 shows / the best they've ever been, in order: 1. TRTC in Philly, 2013 = Full Band Acoustic Show in Philly, 2014 2. Original Reunion Show, 2011 3. Taste of Chaos in Philly, 2016 4. Easter show with the Movielife, 2016 5. In Currents Record Release at Maxwell's, 2012 = Reunion Show #2 at Starland, 2011
Only seen these guys three times, Electric Factory Reunion Show, The Troc In Currents Release Show, and Taste of Chaos. The first was the best, The In Currents Release Show might have been better if some drunk hadn't just been screaming at Sergio the entire time.
Yeah it was a bummer, the setlist was killer and having The Dangerous Summer and Daytrader as openers was so cool even if the majority of TEN fans had no idea who they were.
Tons of people knew who TDS was / were into them / were watching them at that show! But I agree, it should've been the ENTIRE crowd, ha. Love Daytrader too. It's a damn shame that a full TEN / TDS tour never materialized. Those bands go together like PB&J.
