It's only ever been released in 160kbps, which is wild. A proper re-release is a long, long time coming
I remember in the past hearing him (or someone) mention an entirely shelved album around this time, but was it confirmed somewhere it was just another version of this exact album? If so that would still be really cool to hear someday, if Ace ever gets the rights back. I was always under the impression that it was a different set of songs (but who knows how many of those have ended up reworked into later projects).
There's these demos: There was also another version of Over This that IMO was so much better than the album version, but it seems like that's been scrubbed from youtube?
I recorded with Ace back in 2008 and I remember I got him to play a bit of the album for me. Wish I could remember what I thought about it lol it was so long ago. The only thing I definitely remember is that I feel like "When I Hit The Ground" didn't quite have the gusto that the officially released version did.
I remember thinking When I Hit The Ground was too long as an album and should have ended after Where Do We Go From Here. Would have been a great closer
I just listened to some of Room's Too Cold for the first time in awhile. I swear no band gives me a feeling of mournful nostalgia for better days gone past like TEN. Sitting in my office listening to Mountain Range In My Living Room getting teary eyed over here. Goddamn you Ace Enders.
