I like the triple disc. It’s not my favorite from them or anything. I think I’d give that to In Currents. But I always enjoyed it overall.
This tour is cursed. Their pattern of trading off who closes has pointed to TEN opening in Milwaukee… they posted set times and of course they’re breaking the pattern and closing…
So, Ace joined Punchline for one of their Patreon post show pods. He said the set will differ whether they close or not. They want to play a little more higher energy songs on nights they play last. I kind of hope they don’t close in Pittsburgh. I assume the softer set will have more TMTMTP songs.
For my date, Hellogoodbye started their set at ~10:15, but I'd imagine that The Early November would have an earlier start time because their set is longer than Hellogoodbye's (it's just a guess, but I'd assume they'd go on around 9:30-9:45). You could probably check the bands' Instagram stories tomorrow to see if they post set times; I'm pretty sure Punchline at least has been doing that for most dates.
They busted out Tell Me Why last night. Super bummed they cut No Good at Saying Sorry, Never Coming Back and Driving South Also, not sure what constitutes a 'sold out' show at Cambridge Room in House of Blues, but, uh, there was plenty of room in there.
A lot of people left after Hellogoodbye - probably over half the crowd Also didn't realize Jeff wasn't playing with them that was a bummer
I walked in during HG's last song. Even then, definitely didn't feel like a capacity crowd. I did notice a good portion leave. My guess is there were 100 or less for TEN.
