Sounds a lot like HIRAETH. Wasn't expecting that sound to bleed over into a TEN record.

 

I have a feeling the ten record is done and whatever he’s tracking bass for is something different.

 

He's definitely singing on the track in the background, so...hopefully this is for TEN cause it sounds great

What is the hold up? Label shit? I feel like he has never had problems releasing his music.

 

This is just like what happened when Imbue was coming out. At the 10-year show for Room's Too Cold in Philly in late fall 2013, they played Better This Way and said it was from the new record, which was coming before summer 2014. And then it didn't come out until almost a year after summer 2014.

 

Ace told me back in October that the album was delayed because they were recording new songs for it.

 

For the record he also said "likely April" at that time so they technically haven't missed that deadline yet! (Although they pretty much obviously will now at this point).

 

I'd rather they delay it a year and release a better album than rush something they arent happy with.

 

Yeah, if the band isn't happy with what they have right now, then it's fine if they wait it out.

My uneducated guess is that we'll get info this or next week before the NFG tour with a new single

 

fingers crossed! otherwise we are all going to have to bombard them with questions at a show.

 

I really hope we get some kind of update before the tour starts. I have to imagine they really want to start playing some of the new material on it.

ehhhh i wouldn't say that. TMTMTP was also super delayed and was even rejected by the label a couple of times. Imbue also came around a lot later than they said it would.
