It’s finally here ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh the song is so gooddddddddddddddddddddd!!!!!!

 

Damn now we know why it took so long, they went to a remote commune in northern Sweden for the cover art

 

Really digging most of this. Love the guitar, the Aces delivery in the verses (it's a little all over the place, but it works), and the big sound of the chorus.

The only part I'm a little iffy on is "If I got hit by a car!" as the main part of the hook, it just feels goofy. I dunno if it's the lyric itself or just the delivery. I like it more when he's quietly singing it before the end.

 

I fully expect this to continue to grow on me. Also interested to hear it in context of the album.

 

My only complaint is that the chorus feels a liiiiittle too thin? That bass isn’t really filling things out like I feel like it should. Pretty sold on basically every other aspect of this though. This is the direction I was really hoping Imbue would’ve taken

 

S'alright. Nothing that really does much for me on first listen, but maybe it's a grower.

There are bits of it that are really cool but that autotune in the chorus grates on my ears

 

this is a lot different than i thought it was gonna be. this is gonna be so great live if they bring it back into the set. I'll be screaming YOU DON'T HAVE TO BREAK!

I don't looooove it on first listen, but I'm still stoked we're getting a new TEN album finally, and I'm sure this will grow on me.

huh, I felt the exact opposite. After that rappy end to the verse I was like...that was tight.

 

There’s a vocal effect at times that’s bothering me. Solid enough song, though

still good though! really impressive in the chorus vocally. feels like they're holding back a bit and not sure I'm a big fan of the production

 

Not sure how I feel about the chorus, but I'm glad this is finally going to happen! Bring on the preorders!

been lukewarm on these guys for a while, but i really like this song.

 

Reminds me of Further Seems Forever's latest album for some reason, must be because of the autotune as well

 

it is kind of "So Cold" which is still a jam even if that album is not my favorite

 

Already know I’ll love this album, but I know it won’t truly hit until it’s fall. That’s when the real test begins.
