Love this album. But honestly, the only time I felt nostalgic for old TEN/ICMAM was during the closer.
i've been lukewarm on this band for a decade but this is blowing my mind. immediate replay after my first listen. no misses.
i think the closer sounds the most like the free share with everyone ep which I adored and played to hell when it came out (two of those songs obviously found new homes)
Echoing earlier comment about "It Will Always Be" being the most nostalgic sounding song on here. Gave me goosebumps, could've fit perfectly on either TMTMTP or the first Mess album.
I got the indie store splatter. Goes well with the album art, but I hate splatter records. Should've gone with that purple, looks awesome!
I played this soooo much when it came out. Completely forgot about If I’m Still Not Home, ty for this memory
pleasantly surprised at how much i adore this album. also grabbed that Pure Noise vinyl bundle pack including Twenty!
I know they’ve been back for over a decade and Ace has released a billion things since then and that there really wasn’t a huge gap between TMTMTP and other projects but I will forever be grateful and love everything we get from him/the band. I was so defeated and truly weirdly heartbroken when they broke up and didn’t think we’d ever get new music under TEN again when it happened.
Loving how much people are loving this. Reaction online has been super positive. So happy for them cause I think it’s a special album.
So glad I held off on listening to the singles roll out so I could listen to the whole album fresh. This is such a solid album. TEN were my favourite band growing up when I really started to get into music, I absolutely worshiped them. For my money they were always the most interesting and exciting band in the scene back in the day and it always frustrated me that they didn't get the big break that other bands in that scene did. That they can release albums like this and Imbue so late into their career is unbelievable.
