Diving into this one from New Zealand!

 

I'm definitely on the 'tarot card songs are the peak' train after sitting with this for a bit lol. whole thing's pretty good but those songs just hit

 

This album is insanely good

 

Imbue is absolutely the closest album to this one musically

 

Just threw the vinyl on. The Magician rules.

 

To add, We Hang On rules too. This song gives me a Lilac vibe, but heavier.

I’ll need to spend more time with this but off the bat I could see this being the TEN album I listen front to back the most. Others may have higher highs but this is solid all the way through.

I haven't really checked out a TEN record in a long time. Gonna dive into this today.

 

Very very impressed by this. Strongest release they’ve had in a decade. Lots of new flourishes that complement their classic sound.

 

Best release since In Currents for sure. Very consistent all the way through.

If anyone still needs to grab this on vinyl, I think Pure Noise still has the bundle of this and Twenty for $30

I haven’t kept up with this band - I’ve probably only listened to their first two albums - and I always preferred I Can Make a Mess…, but I decided to check this out because of all the reactions and it’s REALLY good so far.

 

Just started my play through. The Magician is a sick song.
