I honestly think this is one of the better of the four.

 

This is the most excited I’ve been for TEN maybe ever

 

Holy heck, a song off this new album was given to me on my Apple New Music playlist and I was blown away. The first and last song I ever heard from this band was "Hair" when it aired on MTV Top 8 back in the day.

Did this band make a huge tonal shift? Or was "Hair" just a one-off and I just ignored the rest? I could go back and figure out myself for sure, but regardless I am very excited with what I am hearing from this new album.

I mean, I’d say there are other songs similar to Hair on the triple album. But the triple record is kind of an anomaly on its own.

I recommend HIRAETH by Ace Enders and A Million Different People for Hair sounding things. Great stuff on there very underrated album.

Waiting Room is one of my favorite songs ever and I feel like no one's ever heard it.

My copy of TMTMTP on vinyl just arrived and I gotta say.. the variants and printing are kind of a let down. There’s no insert or booklet either which was never stated but for $70? Come on DTR.. do better. Previous pressings had it and also had better printing.

The only variant of the three that came out well IMO is the one I won’t be spinning (The Path lol) but all that matters is how they sound. Will be spinning later to see!

 

very curious how they sound, I have been tempted to order an OG press bc I prefer the variants that were pressed for it. but they’re pricy. wish I had just held onto my old copy :\

i loved watching old videos of ten during the 2002-04 era and watching serg go nuts on stage

 

Yeah I even emailed asking for an update on my order status and havent heard a word back

 

listening to When I Hit the Ground this morning. a very flawed album but damn the highs are colossal
