I loved the first two post-hiatus albums, but found Lilac to be such an aggressively unenjoyable album. This is okay and seem better than that, so I’m hoping a new album can bring me back in to this band.
That intro reminded me of the moment a new JEW record releases, its fall, and it hits track 3 or 4 during a long drive. I really enjoy this song. I do feel as though the first chorus drags too much.
