found a vinyl copy of Change today, so it's a good day

 

the emergency and i record is beautiful. heavy records, really nice sleeve, sweet gatefold, b-sides on side D

 

What are the b-sides I've never heard them are they any good

 

I had the E+I Barsuk page open for like three days...I want it

 

a few songs from the ice of boston EP and the split with Juno
also apparently a few songs are remixed

 

found it during my crazy philly/NJ concert weekend when i saw T/t/t/mansions and then brand new do a discog show (first two records ), good weekend

 

has everyone on this site listened to this record yet?
if not then this thread needs to be bumped

This is better than 3/4 Brand New albums and a better concept album than Is A Real Boy ever was

Honestly I think it's about even with TDAG. But that album doesn't have "You Are Invited" or "A Life of Possibilities"

 

Or The City or Girl O'Clock or...

 

8 1/2 Minutes the best

 

back and forth is the best song

 

After I listened to it I was like "oh THIS is where Max got the idea for Admit It"

 

I actually think the last two on the record are the weakest on here, haha.

 

What the fuck Casey the last 30 seconds of 8 1/2 Minutes is the best part of the whole album

 

But the last 30 seconds of that song aren't part of "you are invited"

 

You Are Invited is 2nd best

 

Do you like Changes or the debut at all. Changes is pretty good. Debut and the most recent not so much

 

Change is good, not fantastic. I loooove Time Bomb though, partially because that's the song they opened with when I first saw them. Ice of Boston is a set staple for them (and they always invite the crowd on stage for that) but I haven't really listened to Is Terrified much. The Dismemberment Plan Gets Rich is one crazy song though, if you haven't heard it yet

 

Yeah I'd heard the songs from that EP since wiki labels them as E&I b-sides. Change is really solid but inconsistent.
