Oughta watch it because it’s amazing yes

 

Hmm, the only showing near me is in two weeks at midnight... Gonna try and convince the roommates to watch and just give it a go tonight.

 

I don’t know for sure, but you’d get a lot more out of a theater screening once you’re familiar with the movie

 

I still haven't gotten to seeing The Room, but it didn't get to affecting my watching of this. I really enjoyed it. Both Franco brothers do a great job. One issue I have is that the movie seems to want it both ways as far as whether it wants to make Wiseau a sympathetic character or play his eccentricities for laughs, and it doesn't always straddle that line perfectly. Solid film otherwise, be sure to stay after the credits

 

thirty minutes in and there's been like four of the most awkward sex scenes I've ever seen haha.

I could be wrong, but I think The Room isn't the type of movie that you watch alone. Like, it's probably better to experience with other people joining you in awe of how this movie came to be and what have you

 

It was so bad haha.

 

It’s bad, but it’s so endearing. The dude shot it on film, with two cameras!!! It’s just so sincere, it’s hard not to love lol

 

Yea, it definitely has a lovable quality to it.

 

Every time I watch it I notice new shit about it lol

 

Can't wait to see this.

I saw this last night. Priceless stuff.

 

the whole thing is so surreal. it's a movie based on a book based on a movie by a guy that nobody knew anything about, and that guy loves the whole thing lol

What is that second belt he's wearing? Lol

 

I kind of feel bad for him. Every interview I see with him and Franco is mostly Franco making fun of him. It doesn’t necessarily feel like it’s a mutual fun joke

 

Everything I've read/seen talks about how much Franco admires Tommy

 

Was that the first time Tommy has even admitted to being from Europe? I wish Jimmy didn't glaze over it when Franco was like "WHAT?"

 

Yeah I know he’s a tough dude to interview but Jimmy didn’t do great

 

Definitely have to catch this this weekend.

 

I feel like Jimmy hasn't been exposed to the rabbit hole that is everything Wiseau. Otherwise he would've ceased the opportunity to ask more questions to make for a better guest segment. lol

 

Watched The Room with my wife and two friends on Thanksgiving and my wife had NO CLUE what it was going into it. It was so funny watching her expression at the beginning go from frustrated and confused to morbidly curious to actively seeking out information on Wiseau and trying to figure out when we can go see The Disaster Artist.

 

Anyone else having difficulty downloading their digital copy? I've gone to the link they sent me via email and it just has a summary of my order, there's nothing to download haha.
