If you pause the trailer on the part where Johnny is typing the script for the Room, you can see it has a bunch of errors

This has been my most anticipated movie of the year for a while now and this looks amazing. Franco for the Oscar

 

I hope Franco wins an Oscar and has Tommy accept it for him

I feel like it's meant to be lol. Like it's all led to this

 

On Saturday my girlfriend and I saw the trailer before IT. She has no idea what The Room is or who Tommy is but today she asked me "what was that trailer we saw about that movie crew that appeases that mentally challenged guy by making his movie?".

 

This is my first time hearing about this, so fucking here for it. The Room is one of my favorite movies.

 

so should my wife and I watch the cult classic this week or nah

I'm not a fan of the "it's so bad it' good" kind of movie at all, the movie was a chore to get through for me. I watched it in chunks while I was reading the book. It's a baffling movie, but I think it's a slog. (like sitting through the exact same 6 minute sex scene footage twice...)

 

I've probably seen it like 8 times


Edit: it's not a movie I watch by myself. I get drunk with friends and watch it

 

I've never really had the desire to watch The Room, too many good movies to watch more than a few clips, I'm hoping some place does a double feature with this and The Room and I'd be totally into that

 

Imo The Room is the only bad movie worth watching.

 

I mean, I don't wanna derail the thread, but Neil Breen movies are incredible too, and he's every bit as sincere as Tommy
