This movie was SO GOOD. Honestly my second favorite of the year after Get Out.

This was really good! James really knocked it the fuck out of the park with his Tommy impersonation. Also I saw this a few nights ago with a girl I just started dating who wasn’t familiar with The Room and she still really liked it so that was a pleasant surprise.

Gonna need to read this book now tho.

    This was incredible.

Some of the scenes were a lot more intense and fucked than I initially thought, but I guess the book portrays what being on set with Tommy was like, so yeah.

James' impersonation was great. Some of it was so heartbreaking.

Just downloaded a soundboard app from The Room and it's proving to be A LOT of fun.

The Room is hysterical, but what makes it funnier is Room is one of my favorite movies of all-time and whenever I tell people they need to see it they laugh and I always have to clarify, "No. ROOM. Not THE Room."

Still can't wait to see this movie. It looks like so much fun.

When this comes out on Blu-Ray I kind of want to watch this, pause it at the premiere scene, watch the entire original Room, and then finish this movie

I’m sure this has been touched upon but don’t feel like searching. Do I need to see the room before I see this? Would it be beneficial to? It’s about to go out of theaters by me so I was thinking about going tomorrow.

I’ve mentioned it before but I still haven’t seen The Room but still greatly enjoyed TDA. As long as you’re aware of the movie’s reputation you should be good. Seth Rogan even said on The Nerdist podcast they made the movie to be accessible to mainstream audiences who hasn’t seen it since such a small fraction of people know the movie.

Just watch a "best-of" compilation on Youtube and you'll get most of the inside jokes, but again the movie is good enough that you don't really need to have any prior knowledge at all to enjoy it

I'm glad that TDA stands on its own and doesn't require prior viewing of The Room, but I feel like the more I watch The Room, listen to interviews with Greg and Tommy, read about the movie, etc.... the more I appreciate all of it, TDA included.

    Die rad.

March 13th DVD according to Redbox.

Loved this movie BTW. I watched the room for the first time a week before TDA. Happy I did, but no not necessary.

Really really liked this. It was hilarious. Tragic. Grating. Inspiring. I definitely feel like I would've gotten more out of it if I had been a previous fan, but glad I saw it and definitely want to watch the Room now.
