Didn't someone post a Youtube, or similar, link to the Room?

 

My theater had this listed for a couple days as premiering tomorrow but it's gone now

 

my theater originally wasn't getting it and now we are...maybe we stole yours

 

My local theater cancelled all their showings of this last night. Needless to say, I am fairly livid lol.

I'm visiting my parents and brother this week. My brother and I have been greatly anticipating this movie for so long and it was perfect that we could see it together. Two days ago the local theater had showings Thursday night and all weekend. Now all gone. No theater within an hour is playing it. What the fuck. Not even my favorite theater when I get home will have it.

 

I called in and they employee working didn’t know why it was cancelled, is it regal theaters for you guys?

 

All AMC down here and Cinemark is the one not showing it back home for me, the AMC and Regal both are.

The official The Disaster Artist website shows a few cities near here are getting it but the one here isn't getting it. Fandango and Regal's website say it's not anywhere near here.

 

Positive in this is I get to see this at an Alamo Drafthouse now. Driving an hour isn’t exactly desirable though lol.

 

Seems to be playing in the AMC in Boston

 

It's one thing for a theater to not get it, but to schedule it, sell tickets and then cancel it is VERY weird...wonder whats up with that.

 

Not only is my local AMC theater playing this, but it’s “The 2D IMAX Experience”

What. The. Fuck.

 

I don't know if A24 was kidding but some Regal theaters are showing (or at least advertising) this in 4DX, so yeah.

There's a ton of times available at both of my local theaters starting on Friday and they're an AMC and a Regal... really weird

 

I started watching The Room last night for the first time. Made it through the first 10 minute long sex scene and decided to watch it in chunks instead of all at once.

Regals are doing a double feature of this and The Room tonight

 

I'm going to see a midnight showing of The Room tomorrow (i've never seen it in a theater but it looks so fun) and then seeing this movie Saturday afternoon.

 

was Debating seeing this tonight but it’s playing in our smallest auditorium, def going to sell out/be too crowded. gona have to wait :(

 

C’mon. They pulled this from the only other theater near me now too. Wtf is going on? This sucks.

 

I don’t know what’s going on. It sounds like A24 are pushing it till after Christmas or cutting it entirely but only in select theaters? Did they not make enough hard drives or something? Very weird.
