The breakdown in They Won't Beat Us was another 'holy shit I think they've done it again' moment. There are several of those on this thing.
About to put this on for my morning run and cannot wait to feel like I’m able to run through a brick wall
Was having a really rough morning and I put this on, and it made all the difference. No weaknesses, love them so much.
I thought the last one was fine but felt like it was mostly a lesser version of Fuck Art. This, on the other hand, feels fresh. It rocks.
I also thought FRTP struggled at times with being overly corny (Celebration, Stupid Jobs) and was worried they were getting too samey. This one pushes it forward and rips.Going to bribe the DJ at the wedding I’m going to later to put on Do You Want Me. NO FUCKING WEAKNESSES
Yeah there's enough of that Nil juice that we all know and love but there's a lot of elements moving them into new territory like "This Is Me Warning Ya" going into ballad territory and "Spider Dream" having a different vibe too. Love it.
Fucking ripper album, Feels so different compared to everything else before it, Definitely master volume vibes here and there - need a couple more days to see where i place it in the ranking. seeming like it’ll be above fuck art and free reign for me.
I was worried because I thought the single about the internet was super corny but I was happy to see it was a one-off and I think this might be my favorite of theirs since Master Volume. They are at their best when they lean heavy imo ("I Was a Henchman" is seriously tough)
Yeah, this is good. Feels much more consistent than FRTP. Probably slots in as their third best for me. I did enjoy FRTP, but whenever I listened to it, I just thought I’d rather listen to Fuck Art, which for me is just so clearly their best.
Yeah you can hear Sam's backups on here too This is slowly growing on me, a lot of it is immediate but some slow burners for sure
