Yep, looks like they said those Hamilton shows were the farewell to the Fuck Art era so I assume we're getting a new record probably early next year

 

Went to the Caspian show this week and the bartender recognized my NIL shirt and said they were one of her favorites

Also I felt like that era was short but I did watch them play the album in its entirety like eight times on live streams.

Pandemics really made some recent album cycles feel much different than in years past.

 

It felt super short but yeah all those live streams and then seeing them play mostly the whole album live the 3 times I saw them I guess made it a long enough cycle for me lol

 

Pandemic gave me time to check out this band. Surprised I hadn’t before, especially considering the geography. They not like entirely my thing on normal terms, but they are so good and talented and self confident and clever and write such great hooks and creative lyrics that they are my thing. I listened to Fuck Art sooooooooo much since it’s release. Easily one of the best records of last year but I could have been any year. Considering the time crunch and pressure to get the record done as things were locking down, my goodness, even more impressed. I became a Dirty Nil fan in a hurry once I gave them a chance

 

They dropped a b-side on the patreon today and rocks hard. Definitely better to leave off the album as it is a little bit of a different vibe but it's been stuck in my head all morning since I listened

Said they may release it on a deluxe edition of Fuck Art in the future

 

Didn’t see anyone post in here but they’re covering Minor Threat for this

 

My assumption on the fact they went to record again so soon, and that they're the only non PN band on the comp is that they're probably signing to PN, which should open some doors for them
