Just started listening to them really. Them being from The Hammer is so fitting musically. This album has just been a catchy fun listen. I saw a video of Mark McGrath of Sugar Ray listening to Doom Boy and his response was so spot.

 

I know I’m late to the conversation but this is the best one

 

His reaction to that song is so genuine; there’s no way he’s that good an actor. And it absolutely mirrors the kind of flabbergasted awe and “fuck yeah!” experience I had the first time I heard it.

I’m so mad at myself now for not seeing them when they opened for White Reaper a few years ago. Won’t make that mistake again.

 

I honestly think it reminded him of what his band used to sound like before they released that song “Fly” and got popular. They used to have some heavy songs like Mean Machine in Sugar Ray.

I have come to the conclusion that Fuck Art is their most rippable album on guitar.

Maybe it's because I don't have to tune to open G at various points.
