I like this album, but it never really ascends beyond that for me. It's a good collection of good songs, but nothing apart from Doom Boy really stands out as excellent.

I think Done With Drugs is such a standout

The first 5 songs are all killer, not to mention the closer.

The other 5 tracks are no slouches either.

What the album doesn't have, is weaknesses.

This is pretty much a lock for my Top 10 when the year is over. My most listened to album of 2021 by a good amount right now.

First five songs are all monsters. Done with Drugs and BFC are gonna be so fun live.

    Closer is also great.

    Give what you can.

Skimmed through this thread and couldn't help but notice that aren't any videos of Sugar Ray guy getting his frosted tips nearly blown off by Doom Boy.

Glad to help get that fixed for ya.

Yeah it was a brilliant idea by their team. I watched all of em last night and they were all pretty entertaining, but you could tell some of the people just kind of half assed it and probably never watched the video.

Mark McGrath though... especially at the 3:22 mark when the breakdown kicks in... just gives the exact correct response to this song and band.

Hit almost 70 in Michigan today so you know I was driving around town sharing the Gospel of Nil with the fine people.

  20. Was curious if they'd ever covered John Prine given the reference and found these, pretty good!
