Got tickets for their UK tour this summer, will be my first time seeing them. Hyped

 

undefeated, atomize me, land of clover and the closer are easily the best songs here, the latter two of which might be two of their top 5 period lol

 

After first couple listens i think this is quite good but not at the same level of Master Volume or Fuck Art, or even Higher Power, which is kind on an island in their discog due to Dave's songs. Agree with the corny impulse stuff.

That said, it still has NO WEAKNESSES and i am pissed i have a wedding during the Chicago show lol

Yup. Ripper of an album. Such an easy listen. Listened through it again. I really like the production too. Crazy these guys are a trio!

 

i like this, but i dont dig the opener. will say tho the corniness is a feature not a bug

 

it is on some songs throughout their discog but on tracks like ride or die or celebration i don't really agree

 

Yeah this doesn’t touch the last one for me at all but Land of Clover really is awesome.

 

liked this a lot more after a 2nd listen, but truly unfair to this album to listen to Fuck Art immediately following

 

I think I’m enjoying this as much as the last few. This band are just a ton of fun

 

Yeah, I think this is just as good as fuck art tbh. They don’t miss.

 

1990 is maybe top five NIL. Also, I assume that’s Sam’s backing vocals throughout. Really adds another dimension. Every time they lose a bassist they gain something else with the new one

 

yeah apparently Sam did all the moog stuff too, though i only really noticed it on two tracks

 

dude yes 1990 is an early front runner for me. Just so good

I've had the "I don't never wanna work for you or anyoooooone again" stuck in my head for two days now. So catchy lol

 

title track is the only song that stood out on first listen, but hopefully this clicks with me with more listens
