The fact that I just listened to new DEP for possibly the last time is crushing. What an album though.

Is the new album a good entry point for someone new to the band?

    !!!!

I'd go with Ire Works or One of Us is the Killer then this Album.

I like this album, it really pulls from the previous two.

Tried to this on the train home a couple days ago but stopped it after the third track cause I felt it deserved more than a train listen for the first time. Hoping to have some time tonight to listen properly, but damn those first 3 were great.

Can't remember which song it is, but there's a jazz breakdown during it and it has fucking horns and a violin in it. I was driving when it came on. Almost jumped the curb and hit someone.

IMO, I'd say start with Miss Machine. No better entry point than jumping head first with "Panasonic Youth".

Love the way the album ends, and how the final track goes in what's probably the opposite direction from what you'd expect.

Option Paralysis > Dissociation > Ire Works > One of Us is the Killer > Miss Machine

Too early for Dissociation but thats where it is for now. Never listened to Calculating Infinity and only listened to Miss Machine twice. Don't care for it.

One of Us is The Killer > Dissociation, Ire Works > Option Paralysis > Miss Machine/Infinity.

I need to do another play through, they are really good.

Just added the Spotify stream at the front.

  24. Miss Machine is the one I've listened to the most, but I need to go back and listen to the disco front to back in order to rank them.

If I had to pick a favourite I probably would just go with Miss Machine, but they're all pretty close to each other for me.
