Ngl even from when it was first shown I was really surprised they went with that for the art. I love it, but I thought they had "matured" past some art like that. Super super happy with it though, super psyched for the album. And 12 songs is a nice amount.

 

I could do without the large “The Act” on the front though

 

I was definitely surprised by the art since it’s very doom metal-esque and the new songs live are heavy but not that heavy lol

 

Either way, I’m into it.

 

There's a song (single?) out there

 

Guess I'll have to wait for the day it officially releases to get the answer but there's a female vocalist featured during the bridge, she sounds so familiar yet I don't recognize her and it's already killing me lol

 

New song is pretty cool. I definitely wish we got Switchblade first but I get having this be the single.

 

Solid State Records seems the natural destination for these guys - the song rips

 

like seriously what a fucking song - the progression these dudes have made from album to album has been so impressive even as the popularity of the metalcore genre has died down - Transit Blues is so fucking underrated.

 

Not 100% sure mate but my best guess is Lights

 

Not necessarily what I was expecting sonically but I'm liking it after one listen. Glad to see they've continued to evolve their sound while still sounding familiar.

 

I'm gonna do my best to hold out for the whole album but I really didn't dig this track on first listen. Sounds MAJORLY like a better version of Underoath, which isn't what I want from these guys, especially with such metal album art.

Ah well. Maybe it's just a single.
