The Devil Wears Prada is an American metalcore band from Dayton, Ohio formed in 2005. It consists of members Mike Hranica (vocals, additional guitar), Jeremy DePoyster (rhythm guitar, vocals), Kyle Sipress (lead guitar, backing vocals), and Andy Trick (bass). - Wikipedia

Where are Mike's lows? Musically this is pretty good, but vocally there's not too much going for it.

Sounds like standard TDWP to me. That's not a bad thing at all. These guys are one of the only bands left from the 06-08 era of Metalcore that haven't really budged from their signature sound.

Interesting album title. Not much idea of what to expect from this release, given their last 3.

Hey it's their best album to date, potentially the best metalcore album of the year

You've heard it? Does it have a Dead Throne or 8:18 vibe?

That's high praise, considering Polar Similar...

It's got the best parts of those records amped up. Shades of sludge and post-metal on a lot of it. Mike's lyrics and delivery are really fucking good. Way less formulaic than their old stuff, everything feels cohesive and like its own thing.

The Norma Jean record is great too. I think both bands doubled down on their sound and pushed themselves super hard. Will probably come down to preference for which is "better," but I imagine for fans of the genre those two (and ETID probably) will sit at the top

Excellent news. Are we going to hear another single before the album comes out ? It's been over a month since Daughter was released.

Whoa I didn't see the album art or anything with the bundles but I really dig this minimalist style they're going for. Like they've been trending towards it for awhile but this is even more so.
