I can totally feel this, its almost kinda puzzling why they wouldn't just be part of the festival, I was supposed to come up for this & do the Baltimore date, but im just gonna do Baltimore now. Either way im super hyped for this show!
This started on friday, anyone planning on going to any upcoming dates or went to the first few shows?
Set looks solid, but since there combining this tour with issues tour in Worcester I feel like we'll get a few less songs and it'll be probably be the deeper cuts. Also there selling a ten years of plagues t shirt which had me hoping for more then just one song. And it seems there completely phasing out 8:18 from this tour. Album was ass
Disagree with this statement. 8:18 had some bangers on it just like the rest of their discography. Sailors Prayer, First Sight, and War were all really good tracks that they still throw into a set every so often. Also Home For Grave was a real highlight, so much so that the band made a part II for Transit Blues. I won't call it their best work but definetly not their worst.
Dear Love was absolutely their worst. Personal ranking best to worst would go: Dead Throne Zombie EP With Roots Transit Blues Space EP 8:18 Plagues Dear Love I know that people love Plagues a lot but I seem to go back to that one the least and Dead Throne was the album that really got me into Prada.
The 2 new VoM songs are great. I'm too afraid to start threads for single metal bands here though since there isn't a ton of us.
for me it's probably Roots Zombie EP 8:18 Dead Throne (would be 2nd, but I never cared for the production) Space EP Transit Blues Plagues Dear Love
I love that they are bringing out songs that they never have played before, but kinda bummed at the lack of TB songs, since this is the first true headliner since the album. I remember Mike saying something last year about not wanting to do what they normally do & NOT play alot off the new record, which seems so odd to me. There are still plenty of songs off the record that I'd LOVE to see live, most notably the title Track & The Condition. Record rating wise for me goes: Zombie EP Transit Blues Space EP 818 Dead Throne Roots Plagues Dear Love
Ohhh boy, ranking albums by one of my favorite bands... For me it'd have to be: Zombie EP Space EP Transit Blues 8:18 Roots Plagues Dead Throne (I just could not get into this album for some reason) Dear Love
I'll be at the LA show. Prada is one of the best live heavy bands I've seen. The set they played on the 8:18 tour was one of the most memorable sets I've ever seen. I haven't seen them since so I'm really looking forward to next Friday. Here's my ranking 8:18 Dead Throne Transit Blues With Roots Plagues Dear Love Zombie Space I separated the LPs and EPs but Zombie is obviously a top 3 output from them. I'm not going to spoil the setlist from myself so I can't wait to be surprised every song. They're also handing out a new documentary for free at merch. Don't forget to pick it up.
Waiting for Silent Planet to finish setting up. I missed the first band, but looking forward to the rest of the night.
Same set that was shared from earlier in the tour. They were fucking great. Forever Decay and Survivor were big surprises for me, but Bummed about the lack of 8:18 stuff. I would have traded out Sassafras and Reptar for a 8:18/TB song.
