Me too, man. I was so turned off by a couple songs on this album on my first listen, Chemical being one of them. Now the bridge of this song is one of my favorite parts of the entire album.

    Stay Gold

So glad they've been able to elevate themselves out of the "scene". I'd imagine it's the reason they are still around and most of their former peers are not.

This album is fantastic. They are taking the same kinda route that BMTH did slowly leaving the aggressive “scene” sound and broadening it. Some may call it selling out, but I love when I can hear something from a band I have been listening to for over 14 years adapt to something completely different and still kill it!

    Prestigious Prestigious

I haven't embraced TDWP's change that much because the newer stuff just hasn't clicked with me as much, but I still need to listen to this new record and I'm 100% on board with them evolving and doing new things. I wouldn't call it selling out since it doesn't seem like they're doing it to make more money. If anything it probably loses them more old fans than it does gain them new ones.

Not selling out, growth. These are not the same kids that wrote Plagues. I am so happy they continue to make music and are developing a new sound for themselves.

Really dig this new album. I remember they played Nokia Theater in LA a few years back that shit was insane.
