    The Decemberists will release their new album, I’ll Be Your Girl, on March 16th. Today they’ve debuted the new song “Severed” on Spotify and Apple Music. Also, pre-orders are now up.

    This is very different for the Decemberists. Parts of it remind me of something that would be on Narrow Stairs.

    Hmm...I can hear that too. It's definitely interesting for the Decemberists...I've got mixed feelings so far.

    Keep in mind that they released "Make You Better" as the first song off of Terrible Word/Beautiful World and its the only song on the album that sounds like that.
