I don't think Act IV is coming anytime soon, also not sure if its going to be a traditional album like the others.
I just got Act IV and V on wax, and I really feel like those albums were MADE for vinyl. All of the layers come out so beautifully.
Act IV and V are the best in my opinion. Production is phenomenal and Casey’s vocals are much stronger
Red Hands is really sad lyrically, but really inspiring musically. That song has got me up some hills running, lol
Act II is my favorite but I feel like Act V is them at their best, if that makes sense. But then like Act III easily has some of their best individual tracks but isn’t their most cohesive work. I dunno, they’re just a really solid band
i love "Girl" but don't see it as part of the second half, though it technically is. other than that i really like "Let Go". "This Vicious Place" starts off interesting but kinda goes nowhere. can't even remember what the rest sounds like. still a very good album as a whole
The only thing I like from the non-Acts albums are the songs that sound like Acts songs, so... I agree that Act II brings the nostalgia, Act III has some of the best individual songs (In Cauda, The Tank, Mustard Gas) but is inconsistent as a whole, and Act IV and especially V are them firing on all cylinders for the most part.
