Didn't tune in live because it started at 1am UK time and I was falling asleep on the sofa at 10.30... Will be watching this evening, might do it back to back with the Act I stream that I havent watched yet.

 

Holy hell that was fucking incredible. Maybe because I'm on my third The Fire Remains but I cried twice. Goddamn Casey is a monster.

 

Done an Acts run this week after last weekends stream and this is my definitive ranking:

2 > 4 > 1 > 3 > 5

3 and 5 are the hardest to choose between for me, doesn't feel fair to place either of them last because there's some great moments on each, but equally both have tracks I would consider some of tdh's weakest overall.

 

I'd say, personally, 5 > 4 = 2 > 3 > 1. Before the Act II stream, I would've said 4 > 2, but that stream reminded me just how good Act 2 really is. Act V being #1 is more of a personal connection than anything. If we're ranking objectively, it's gotta be between 3 and 2.

 

I wonder if I just got a bit fatigued with Act V - following up IV a year later with another very similar sounding 15 track album. It's got some great songs but also a few duds imo. Similar case with III but that album has far more sentimental value for me, it came at a fairly significant time of life.

 

It helps that V was my the firsr album I found from them and also came at a super significant time in my life. I worshiped that album in junior year of high school and met my girlfriend through the band at roughly the same time. I wonder if I'd see it different had I gotten into them sooner.

 

i've been really into Act 2 ever since the livestream, definitely made me realize how good those songs really are! i think Act 4 might be the most perfect record from this band though.

 

Gotta admire the ambition

 

The Indigo Child is pretty great!! The first two tracks are great and the rest is very pleasing as well

 

I'd love to hear a full vocal track put together with Disruptor Sphere!

This is a reimaged version of their 2013 album 'Migrant' - Casey Crescenzo went back to the studio with Mike Watts to remix the album with a more rock feel. They remixed and resequenced the album to give it new life!
