I really struggle to get into anything that isn't acts related with this band

Same, outside of a couple of Color Spectrum songs. Clips sounded good though, we'll see. The story just draws me in and doesn't let go.

My fiancée loves migrant and I just can't get into it, I listened to it once and liked it but never want to go back to it

Gun to my head I'd have to say Color Spectrum is the best thing he's done. Act II is nostalgic fave though.

Migrant is very good and sounds lush, but I don't find it overly compelling.

Honestly cant say the clips in the teaser video above really grabbed me, but I'll wait to hear more than 10 seconds of each song before I form any opinions.

Act V was so good, I think they really captured the mood of the story perfectly with that record.

Truthfully I was kinda underwhelmed by Act V. It's not bad by any stretch, but outside of the progression of the story it didn't offer me anything fresh, especially coming so soon after Act IV. Maybe my expectations are too high but Casey is such an innovater, I was hoping for something different from the band, although I get that the whole point of the acts is that they stand together as a cohesive narrative.

Yeah, those were also recorded very closely together. I thought Act V had a much darker vibe overall than Act IV. It took a while to click with me, but I think I like it even more than Act IV now.

i got the same 'wow what in the living fuck is this' vibes from "Mr. Usher" as i had gotten from "King of Swords" so that sounded pretty innovative to me fortunately

Yeah maybe I'm just being harsh. I'm not saying he phoned it in or anything, there's some great stuff on both albums, particularly IV.

This is exciting news! I really enjoyed Migrant but thought some of the best songs were on the Deluxe version.
