Just curious. Our Thursday showtimes start at 7:19. What's the deal? Is that number significant in the book(s)?
I could be wrong, but I don't have a great feeling about this. The short run time and the fact that Sony is only holding a very limited amount of screenings doesn't smell right.
Pretty much. I'll be seeing this tomorrow night. Going in with zero expectations so maybe it'll surprise me. We shall see. Edit: I thought tomorrow was Wednesday. I'm watching this Wednesday night.
Arcel said the wizard and glass adaptation is going to be super close to the book. Considering it's my favorite of the series, I'm so much more excited for it.
And it will also be like 10 episodes or something right? Assuming The Dark Tower is good, I'm glad that WaG will be a miniseries. There is just so much good stuff in that book.
Honestly, I think (based on what we've seen so far) the worst thing for the Wizard and Glass tv series would be The Dark Tower being successful. It just seems so ridiculously different from the series that, if it made a lot of money, it might make the studio more concerned in keeping the series in line with the movie, rather than the books.
really didn't like this trailer So this is like a sequel to the books? Or an adaptation of one of the books?
I'll be there Friday or Saturday regardless, but I have no clue how well this we'll do with the general public
