I came home from work last night around midnight and my wife had started without me and was already on Episode 2!!!! I couldn't believe it. The part I walked in on looked amazing, but I am going to catch up today.

After first episode I echo comments on the gorgeousness of this. Its magnificent and think the blending of modern CGI with the predominant practical effects/puppetry is what Ive always wanted. Its a perfect mix.

After one episode, we kind of have three protagonists in three different locations so Im nervous how thats handled because it was a bit scattered for me. The through-line between all three is basically the same though and I dig the premise so hopefully they bring the three together.

watched the first half of the first episode and it seems a bit scatterbrained, but man the scenery is gorgeous

 

plot is definitely a little meandering, but I’ll take every minute I can in this world.

 

Hup is my favorite character in a while

 

The end of the second ep was intense

 

Holy shit episode 4 was fucking incredible. Finally some great action in this world and it was an epic conclusion. The Hunter is fucking bad ass and scary as fuck. And finally we got Deet and Rian together.

 

Just finished it...this show is fucking brutal

 

This show is the best successor to Game of a Thrones, by far

End of episode 5 absolutely seals it

 

I've also just finished episode 2 now and holy shit, that ending.

 

Just finished episode 4 and this series is a lot darker than I expected. Not complaining though, it's a pleasant surprise.

 

This was incredible. The making of doc is really excellent as well.

So I finished this and each episode only got bigger and better. It's crazy that the prequel adds so much insight but it feels like it's own thing.

Even the process of bringing this to life is so interesting Definitely a favourite, for sure. Now to wait....

 

Literally just watched that - so creepy and cool. PG is cutting it pretty close haha

I’ve gotten home every day since starting this excited to watch more. I finished it within 3 days of it dropping.

 

The ending of episode 4...wow. This show is really something.

 

I’ve also somehow never seen the movie. I really want to watch this tho

 

Honestly would recommend watching the show before, without knowing the outcome...I’m sure this would be a riveting watch

 

I think I might. Prequels tend to have less weight because of that fact. The downside is that a prequel could also potentially reveal certain information that would ruin the next entry but I dunno I’ll prolly just watch the show first.

 

I don’t think there’s really anything that’s been revealed that would affect a viewing of the original.
