Fog is the worst song on Golden Record. I'm really not a fan.

 

Just didn't like he's kinda screaming in Golden Record. Well not screaming but strained singing i guess

 

Yeah he sounds pretty terrible on GR but it doesn't hamper my enjoyment of it too much

 

I thought golden record was pretty weak lyrically.

 

I can still connect with a good deal on that record, maybe more than War Paint actually

 

He sounds fucking awful on GR compared to the previous albums. If I listen to that one in isolation, it's fine, but if I go to it after one of the other two, it's super evident how terrible he sounds

 

His voice sounds strained for sure but I still love a lot of songs on that album. Sins is probably my least favorite song on there. I'm So Pathetic, Miles Apart, Catholic Girls, and Knives are excellent songs though.

 

Listened to War Paint for the first time in awhile today. Still holds up decently well, but the best songs are hands down the first and last song

 

Reach For The Sun is still a perfect album to me. Still love it.

 

Golden Record is their best album

Fog is one of the only songs i like off GR, along with Catholic Girls and Honestly (i feel like i made this post already)
over all AJ's voice just starts to grate on you after like 11 songs of that.

 

Worst TDS song is probably Drowning.

I wouldnt say it sucks but its just kind of boring to me.

 

I remember liking drowning because it kind of buried aj' voice in the mix and made him more...uh...palatable.

I remember the band posted a video of them rehearsing the bridge to "Knives" on their Facebook, but it was tuned down like 3 half steps. It sounded so sick. Then they shifted it up for the album and I was sad lol

 

"Drowning," "I'm So Pathetic," and "Into the Comfort" are all candidates for "worst TDS song." I actually don't think any of those are horrible, I just don't think they are particularly good either.

 

Into the Comfort and Pathetic are unequivocally the worst TDS songs, everything else in their catalog is incredible.
