It always seemed like War Paint was the overwhelming favorite on AP. the relative RFTS love seems kinda recent
RFTS blends together far more than War Paint, they really liked using the same sounding riffs on that Other than Weathered. I love that song
idk i think the general opinion seems to be in favor of RTFS, not that WP wasn't loved as well but it seemed like RTFS did its thing when most of the community really needed it while War Paint came a little after that. for me it's no contest, War Paint blows it out of the water
YES that is exactly why i love that song so much that bridge is everything ALSO anyone down on that new Somos record come into the album thread let's fight !@!!
RFTS is m favorite. I used to feel like WP was just a worse version but I really love it now. Both are among my favorites and miles better than GR (tho it does have my favorite song)
listened to GR last night and the production is just so bad. the guitars sound really stuffy, they totally lost it when Bryan left the band
This is incredible, thank you. Is there anyway I can contact you to get an MP3 of this? The quality of this show is exponentially better than the one they gave away for free right before they broke up (I believe it was live in Atlanta).
Bryan does DreamCatcher, Cody does Floodlove. Ben Cato is working on something I think, he tweets about it a lot. Matt Kennedy is in another band too, but I've never looked into it. As for AJ and Tyler, I don't think so?
Not defending any of Cody's statements or actions, but I did thoroughly enjoy that 8 song album he released in 2014.
Sounded flat and boring to me. After he released that album it only further made me feel like he needs AJ (or anyone really.)
Yeah buddy! Email me at Tom@CleanCut.Audio I'll try to get something to you either today or after the weekend!
Hey guys! I posted a live video of The Dangerous Summer live at my local venue and a couple people requested the mp3's for it. I spent quite some time remixing the tracks into a seamless playing album, and even did the metadata with artwork and everything. Check it out! Free for download (obviously) Audio was recorded multi-out from a Behringer X32 onto my computer, then mixed in ProTools. Video: Audio Files: Dropbox - The Dangerous Summer Live @ Empire
RFTS and War Paint Are both records for me where I'll put a single song on, love it all over again, and immediately start the respective album from the top. The drumming on RFTS is insanity though. Just consistently impressive and inventive. They started so strong.
