If I get a sudden influx of money from a rich relative passing or from the lottery, catch me flying out from Oregon to do both shows.
I'm tempted to go to the Baltimore show but unless this reunion crashes and burns real fast, I'm sure there'll be a Philly show I can check out either later this year or early 2018.
Jealous of anyone that does get to make it out to one of these shows, but looking forward to finally seeing them live next year
metro is significantly smaller than ottobar, where they usually play. surprised it's not there but i guess there's already a pretty decent sized show there that night
Extra bit from the rocksound post: The band are heading into the studio to record a follow-up to 2013's 'Golden Record' with James Paul Wisner (Paramore, As It Is). "We’re taking elements of what people always loved about the band and trying to push the limits and push things forward," says AJ. "We’re pulling out of the darkness, and it’s really inspiring and uplifting."
Notable discography mentions for Wisner. Definitely has a good mix of poppy stuff as well as heavier and rockier jams. Obviously not a super big name but one that could definitely work with this band. Paramore - All We Know Is Falling Go Radio - Lucky Street I See Stars - 3D VersaEmerge - VersaEmerge The Academy Is... - Almost Here Further Seems Forever - Hide Nothing Dashboard Confessional - The Swiss Army Romance Underoath - Cries of the Past
None of that stuff sounds especially good lol but most of what I'm familiar with is from a long time ago
He also did The Moon Is Down as well. Would have mentioned that one but his website's a slog to view.
As much as I would absolutely love to go to their first show back I'm not sure I could justify the 10 hour drive to Baltimore on the first school weekend, lol
Huehuehueheueheue Two hour drive after a show is nothing. Remember I drove six hours Sunday night after pitchfork
