I feel this haha. I'm on the verge of obsession and I have a feeling this record is gonna break the dam.
That sucks. On the way to the ER right now with possible apendacitis and decided to listen to the theee songs on Apple Music and just super excited for Friday/Next weeks show. Hopefully nothing serious that would make me miss the show.
For real though, how is this not out there yet? The people of Tennessee who went to the show last night are really letting us down. Deliver this album to my ears!
I just realized I won’t be able to listen to this until maybe Saturday. Meaning y’all will have it tomorrow and Friday and I’ll have to stay away from here haha
After 2 play-throughs this rules. Sure, it doesn’t touch RFTS or WP, but much like Craig’s review those albums hit particularly hard at the time for me too. But this is filled with jams — a great comeback mix of pre-GR while still maintaining some golden record grit. And those RFTS tones on This is Life...totally agree this probably should have been the lead single
This Is Life, When I Get Home, Live Forever, and Infinte get an immediate Wow from me. Luna gave me the feels and I don’t even have a kid haha. -I’ll need to listen more than once. Listened to this on a morning run... -AJ seems really locked in on this album and that’s awesome to hear. That bass tone too, hotdamn. -Still missing that Brian Czap influence though.
Haven't listened to this yet, but yeah, it would be awesome if him and the current guitarist (guy from The Graduate, right?) could write together. I don't know if they would play off each other well though, they've both been lead guitarists.
