I'm stoked. Just ordered lyrics, gave him a choice between way down or consequence of living. They've always been a partying band, and it's awesome, but I can see how it could be taken. Every time I meet aj I feel he doesn't remember me, but its always a cool night ya know? True story cody came up to me in the crowd when they opened for early November.. I had made a joke on Facebook about seeing him there and he said we'll see ha.. it was cool.
Honestly, I just don't think he should have anything to do with The Dangerous Summer. They just wrote an album without him that holds up to anything they did with him. They just don't need a criminal who rips off fans, is kicked off tours, acts like a massive bellend and ends up in jail. Maybe he can change, I don't know. I hope he does. All I know is, he should do so away from this band.
Regardless of the bold image they are projecting right now (Mollywater, Fuck Them All), it should be an interesting experiment to follow. And to quote Bill and Ted, "be excellent to each other."
Yeah it all comes down to this unfortunately. I'll listen to the song but I will most definitely not be watching that video.
not entirely sure what you're getting at, but my feeling is that while cody was the worst member of TDS, the constant line up changes and general vibe of the band since GR have kinda made for a chaotic experience. might be jaded from all the times they fucked over fans (just remembered i gave money for that documentary that never got finished), but it just kinda feels slapped together or cringe (see: Mollywater). know a lot of people dug the last LP but the whole thing kinda feels like emo guns'n'roses imo.
You seem uniformed overall a bit. The constant lineup changes since GR has only been Ben leaving really. Since the reunion it has been those 3 plus a touring guitarist. Secondly the part you didnt follow about cody stealing money was he was in charge of all the finances and was literally using all the money for himself. Right before the breakup. Post reunion, they have been touring and putting out albums with zero drama basically. Not sure what the turmoil is now that matches a guitarist who went crazy and broke into a neighbors apartment and stole thousands of dollars of gear and ended up in prison
What did Cody end up getting sentenced with anyway? I know he had the burglary charges but haven’t seen much about sentencing.
