I finally had some time to sit down and listen to this album and it really is special, but this moment was one of, if not the best on the album. The way the music starts behind the voice and carries right into the 2nd track. Oh man.
I finally caved and took a look at this tour's setlist. Why aren't they playing anything from War Paint????
ANYTHING?!? I was just about to look it up since they're in Boston tomorrow... that's a bit of a bummer.
This is a headlining tour, right? Only 2 songs from the new album (which slays) and 14 total seems bonkers.
They did 4 tonight (Where Were You..., Bring me back to life, way down and starting over / slow down)
I'll be there tonight and was definitely sad to see not a single song being played. I feel like they could at least play the title track.
I am really craving Blind Ambition but very sad it won't be played. I haven't looked at any setlists prior but am still pumped to see them again this year. Hoping I get there early enough to see Valleyheart too. I've also never been to this "venue" before ... will be cool!
They played the title track and the acoustic no one’s gonna need you more a few nights ago so it’s not like there is no chance. Thread speculated that the songs strain AJ’s voice too much. I think they are just rotating them out because they play them constantly.
I haven't been either! Looks pretty nice inside despite the unassuming size/front of building. There's some awesome food and cocktail/craft beer options right nearby too. I saw TDS at I believe Brighton Music Hall and the Middle East Upstairs back in the day....
I LOVE Brighton Music Hall. It’s right down the street from my brothers apartment and I saw We Were Promised Jet Packs there! As for the Middle East, TDS just played there last year right, but downstairs? That venue is ... lol. Pretty sure I saw this lineup at the upstairs venue once: Modern Baseball Tiny Moving Parts (meh) The Hotelier Sorority Noise
They posted on Facebook today that NYC and Baltimore are about to sell out. Damnit, I need to pull the trigger and buy a ticket.
Y'all ever think about how crazy Work In Progress is? Sorry, this album has me revisiting the discog.
My friend is at the show tonight. Sent me a text letting me know "He's never felt more inspired" watching the band. This record needs to BLOW THE HELL UP. Supposedly AJ talked about a 10 year tour for RFTS
