quit all this talk about Crossfade before I'm legally obligated to post the 10 minute prog metal track they made that actually rips
Fun fact. My first US tour was with Crossfade. They couldn’t leave for bus call one night because the singer locked himself in a bathroom after a 17 year old didn’t want to bang him. That was my “welcome to the music industry. Isn’t it grand?” Lesson.
It blew my mind how many people would go see them. Without fail every night you’d have one drunk bro who ripped off his shirt on the way out and just scream “CROSSFADE!!!” And everyone goes “WOOOOOO” just absolutely buzzing with excitement from seeing one of god’s Greatest gifts to humanity. The music and performance of Crossfade.
Bahahaha. Can I just say, it’s such a joy having you on this site sir. That being said, this is shockingly good. Certainly a far cry from “Cold” which is the only song I remember from them hah. When that riff came in a couple minutes in I audibly said “no fucking way” lmao
Wait, you all know you can sync local files to Spotify on your phone, right? I've been doing this for years.
It’s so clunky though and once they changed it to wireless sync it has been hit or miss imo. At one point it wouldn’t let me do it over my college apartment’s WiFi since it was a shared network. Love that I can just drop files into my iTunes and have them sync whether I’m around or not without pressing anything, plus the Siri integration with even my local library files makes the experience so seamless.
It’s like Apples and Oranges how local libraries are used, displayed, and synced in the two apps. That you have to synchronize local files at all is foreign. Let alone use your space. I don’t have to put any of my music on my phone to have it with me. This album isn’t even out yet and I can stream it from the gym right now and I sync’d nothing: It’s just there to stream for me when I want it. It’s soooo nice.
Forgot to mention I bought a CD and had AJ signed it and he asked what my favorite song was on the new record and seemed legitimately shocked when I said "It Is Real." Still awestruck that people managed to start a mosh pit for the second half of Starting Over/Slow Down
For real though, I’ve had that iPod since 2010 and it still works like a champ through every five-hour drive or 10-mile run.
Today I went on a walk around my neighborhood and was proud I almost hit 10,000 steps for the whole day. Then I read someone casually hitting up a 10 mile run and realize I’m weak.
Does it slightly blow anyones mind we have had 4 singles. 3 music videos, I just saw them in concert and the album isnt officially out yet? Lol
Coldplay would have to open for tds. Only artist that could headline over them is taylor swift. No cap.
Hey, walks are great! I've only upped my mileage recently. I started running again probably four years ago, just to break up my day and get out of the house. (I'm a freelance writer.) It was usually just 2-3 miles a day. But then my sister started crushing marathons and inspired me to up my game.
