Just got new hearing aids in 10 years today. This is the first album I listened to with them. This album is now enshrined in my memories

I’m profoundly deaf, 92% loss in one ear, 96% in the other, so this is a huge change. Do you have hearing aids?
I do. Signia Pure 7PX's. I like them because the Bose earbuds still fit in my ears while I'm wearing them. Still sometimes hard to hear certain lyrics/frequencies in the music though.
It Is Real is so good. Love the chorus. While you were in bed, getting higher than the rooftops trying to understand the world and what it all meant to us. Love the way the ending sounds too where the other instruments drop out as he sings the chorus.

No omnichord appearance this record. We used all the amps here. Changes every song. Each guitar is Bi-amped etc. I actually do a Mix Lab course about reamping guitars for URM academy. I actually even reamp the song It Is Real! So check that out.
Like this album but I just can't get into this anywhere near as much as RFTS, WP and GR. It bums me out but I dunno. I'll keep listening and see.
