I don’t really have an “issue” with it. There are lots of great albums with bad or lazy covers. I love Bruce Springsteen and almost none of his covers are interesting. I just thought it was funny that people kept dunking on the album cover for Mother Nature, given the band’s track record in that department.
Who cares about the cover. The music is what matters and Where Were You When The Sky Opened Up is awesome, i'm excited for this. I really enjoyed the last album as well.
All Gaslight covers kind of suck too. I would say Handwritten and 59’ Sound are lazy, but Get Hurt and American Slang are terrible.
I really like the self-titled cover. None of their album art really made any sense to me anyways. But Golden Record is my least favorite cover of theirs too. Plus, Anberlin - Lowborn did it better with the hand thing. I don’t think anything will beat Blinks “neighborhoods” or “dogs eating dogs” EP though
baffled by all this hate and slander; TDS hasn't had any outright BAD album art since their first EP. Mother Nature art+title is fine, i really like it.
Anberlin's Lowborn is the worst if we're gonna discuss bad album covers Looks like somebody fisted a used diaper
golden record cover is fine. mother nature cover is pretty decent tbh! war paint and reach for the sun covers are iconic tbh.
I saw a post earlier this morning that said June 14 and was like "gee that's pretty far away isn't it?", guess they goofed and that's when the album is coming out
Looks like this'll be, at the very least, out there by 5/24 since they're including vinyl with the VIP package for the upcoming your.
I’m stupid. Found it. I didn’t mind the clip. But the production sounded terrible. Idk if it’s actually like that or if I just had weird service on my phone lol.
Like someone else said, reminded me of the vocals on GR which...i wasn't particularly into. Loved the first track though so we'll see. If he wants to scream that's totally cool, it just isn't for me. I prefer the smoother poppier tone.
